14-8-2009 - Jayde's schedule :-)...BD & I court date

My mood while writing this blog: just fine

I just decided to write an update b/c there are some things going on...

First of all Jayde has finally gotten on a really good schedule. She has started sleeping through the night!!! She did that the past 4 nights (didn't do it night before last cuz she was at her dad's and not in her own room/crib). I am so ecstatic cuz i go back to work in 1 week and this is great timing as i will need my sleep. So basically Jayde goes to bed around 7:30 or 8pm. She wakes around 7 or 8am, gets a dry diaper, and eats breakfast (baby cereal and about 7oz. of formula). Then it's playtime/ Noggin time for Jayde while Mommy gets a shower and her breakfast. We play together after that and she has lunch between 12 and 1pm. About 2-3 hours after she wakes up, Jayde goes down for a 1 or 2 hour nap (Mommy eats her lunch and tries to get things done around the house). After this nap we usually run errands if needed or just hang out in the house. After another 2-3 hours she takes another nap (this nap is sometimes really short- 40mins. or really long- 2hrs.). If it's short she'll take another one around 4pm, and if it's long she'll stay awake til bedtime. She eats dinner about 6:30pm (baby food veggies with rice cereal and 4oz. of formula. Then, it's bathtime (every other night), a story, and bed! I love it! Too bad we'll have to change it up in a week cuz I go back to work which means leaving the house by 7 or 7:30am everyday. What i'll try to do is move her bedtime to right at 7pm so she's up by 6 or 6:30am. I'll let you guys know how that goes in the next couple of weeks.

Ok, so BD and i are going to court... i don't like it one bit! I turned in my Child Support application awhile back and went in for my meeting with the case worker. She told me that since Rol was on disability all he would have to do is come to the Child Support office when she sent him a letter and prove his disability. This was fine cuz i just wanted CS stuff to be on record in case he and i ever got hostile with each other and couldn't work things out amongst ourselves. So i went ahead with the proceedings. Tell me why we both get a summons to appear in court on Sept. 8th??! IDK what happened! My caseworker never called me or anything; she's just sending us straight to court. Does anyone know why?? Rol and i have been sooooo good lately. Like Jayde stays over there once a week and he and i talk and decide which day is best for both of us. We talk while she's there so i can check on her. Then, like yesterday when i picked her up we sat on his couch for about an hour just talking and playing with Jayde; we were like a real family for awhile! :) Last night he said the court thing won't change anything but i know it'll make things odd for a bit. Oh well...guess there's nothing we can do now. I'll just be in court on the 8th, not sure what they'll say.

Well, Jayde and i are gonna be off to meet with this lady about childcare (i'm looking for an in home daycare cuz that's more affordable). I hope this one works out cuz i need someone by next Monday!
