08-1-2010 - YEEEE HAWWW!!!

I now have the Bonjovi song in my head "Livin' On A Prayer' because woah, we're halfway there... I am truly turning into a very dorky mama. I am 20 weeks today and yup, I am halfway there (I guess a little more since I'm scheduled for a c-section at 39 weeks). YAY!!!!

So the holidays are behind us and all of Pittsburgh football is sadly over and our city is COVERED in snow, I still have so much to look forward to making these dreary winter days and long nights a lot better...

Next Saturday we embark on our Make A Wish trip to Disney!!! Christian (my oldest and my wish kid) finally gets a reward for being a trooper, having endured so much pain and for being a hero! We will also be celebrating his 9th birthday in the Magic Kingdom! He deserves it!!!

So, if ever any of you are in a position to donate or volunteer your time for a good cause, I strongly suggest Make A Wish, I've donated my whole adult life never expecting to be a recipient of so many peoples generosity. It's not about medicine or research, it's about bringing some well earned excitement and joy to a child who has been through a whole lot of unfair crap. I'll get off of my soapbox now... sorry : )
