Good Moring Ladies,
I hope you are all well. Sorry I have not been on here alot lately I have just been so tired and exhausted that I just dont seem to have the energy. I do log in most days and read your comments and blogs and they always make me smile and cheer me up.
I had my 28 week check up on monday and my bloods came back showing that i was anemic so that explains why I have been so tired!!!! I failed the glucose test and had to go back yesterday for the three hour one and guess what!!!!!! I failed that too. The midwife has just phoned to tell me I am also diabetic and will need regular monitoring for the rest of the pregnancy. So I have to go see a diabetic specialists next week.
It wouldnt be so bad but I am already on two weekly check ups as I am rhesus negative and I have antibodies in my blood. So they are keeping a close eye on me and the baby to make sure he is doing ok as he may be born Jaundice due to the antibodies in my blood. Its all so confusing, I dont know if Im coming or going. I cant wait to meet my little one but as for the pregnancy I will be glad when my due date gets here.
Sorry for the long blog but its been a while since I last updated. Have a good day ladies and I will catch up with you all again soon. I think im going to the book shop so I can read up on the pregnancy diabetes before I go to the clinic next week.

hi im rhesus negative also and i can empathise. Try and keep your chin up...i know that be hard...you should see my blogs lol but just remember why you are doing all of this :D xx

I am so sorry you have been feeling rubbish. Look at it this way, at least they have found out what the problem is and can treat it, thats the most important thing. And besides it will all disappear once baby is born :o)
As Rachel says, make sure you read up, and take questions with you. I hope this gets sorted out soon honey, then you can get back to your happy chirpy self :o)

Make sure you take a list of questions to your appointment so you can get clued up on what is going on.
I hope that your medical team are able to do something to make you feel a bit more comfortable for the rest of the pregnancy x x
