27-2-2012 - 11 weeks?

My mood while writing this blog: Disappointed

So I went to my doctors today.... my goodness I never realized one child could ask so many questions. My daughter was asking question after question after question non stop.

"where is the baby?"

"can I see the baby?"

"when will the baby be here?"

"wheres the babies heart?"

"can I hear the babys heart?"

Needless to say I got sick of the questions kind of fast, the resident came in and asked me how far along I was and I was like "Uuuuhhhh I don't know like 11 weeks?". And she looks at me and says that is exactly what my chart says (why the heck ask me if you know the answer???). Then she does her exam and the doctor comes and asks if I have any questions so I asked if we were going to hear the heart today (11 weeks seems like a good time) and she said they dont normally because the heartbeat is so hard to find at 11 weeks and they normally cant find it (I think it was her nice way of telling me I am too fat). They tried and failed they couldnt find anything they only bearly found my heartbeat. I was disappointed with both my other kids at 10 weeks I could hear the heartbeat and I was fatter then than I am now. I found it more disappointing for my daughter than for me though she was so sad they couldnt find it. She asked me if the baby was still alive and if the baby was still inside me.... she seemed very worried and it scares me she is only 3 and knows whats going on a lot better than I thought she would. I feel like I have an 8 year old stuck in a 3 year olds body sometimes. Anyways they put my due date down as Sept 19 which means I am only 10 weeks but seeing as they have me down as 11 weeks I am going to stick to my original Sept 16 DD and hope the baby comes before they induce me on Sept 26 (which is 41 weeks according to the DD they have and thats when they do their inductions). Guess it could be worse though I have a friend due smack dab in the middle of the summer (HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA).
