13-8-2009 - 12 week ultrasound

My mood while writing this blog: Happy

So we had the ultrasound yesterday and it was awesome. It still totally amazes me to see my little baby kicking around like that. The baby was very active jumping around everywhere. We could also see it opening and closing it's mouth and sucking it's thumb (which we got a pic of).

The baby's heart rate was at a normal rate of 162.

I then saw something flash up on the screen which looked like boy parts then the ultrasound tech asked us if we were going to find out what it was. Of course we agreed and she continued to show us these different angles and said she is pretty sure already that it was a BOY! Of course it's really early and we won't know for definate until the next ultrasound but it's very exciting to have an idea of the sex so early.
