17-12-2009 - 30 week update

My mood while writing this blog: Relaxed

So 30 week's is here. I have started to count down now, not because i am tired of pregnancy (actually i love being pregnant) but because i can't wait to meet my little man. I am so curious to see how much he will look us and how similar or different he is to my son.

Went and put some baby things on layby, some 4 zero and 3 zero stuff, it's amazing how you forget how small your children once were. Maison is now 2 and a half and in some way's it seem's like only yesterday we brought him home from hospital on the other hand it seem's like a lifetime ago that i held that tiny little baby in my arms :( He amazes me every day how much he can do and how much he knows. I just found out he know's all the word's to the bob the builder theme song and knows the right order lol.

Anyway back to baby, i have been getting a lot of kicks down below this last week (it sometimes makes me jump) so i hope he has not flipped the wrong way up. He's very active anyway so i am pleased with that.

I have been off work for the last 9 day's. Firstly i had a cold and then i found out the nursing home i work in had a really bad outbreak of gastro (50% of residents had it) AHHHHH! I was due to go back in on monday but i went it to see the boss and said look i don't think it's a good idea for me to be back yet when my immune system is already low plus being pregnant too. She agreed with me so i rang my doc and she gave me a sick note for another 3 day's.Went to work last night and things seem to be getting better. Fingers crossed i don't get it, i had it last time i was preggo and it's horrible.
