19-2-2010 - Cabin Fever

My mood while writing this blog:
Insane!

Well, almost to week 37. I cannot sleep for the life of me. I cannot get comfortable and I am so ready for baby to get here. I would try to go into labor early, but I think it best that she comes when she is ready. I was able to sleep most of the other night and when DH got up to play some games, I slept until 1 yesterday. Last night, no such luck. I couldn't sleep. My body is so tired, I am getting tired of staying home all day. I want to get out and go do something. I have to pee every five minutes. I am so loosing it. Last night, I tried to take a bath and shave and get all nice and clean for once, and right in the middle of my bath, the dog decided to poop on the floor infront of the tub! That just ruined my experience! I couldn't leave him alone in the front room, he still a puppy and gets into things still. Me and my DH did have a nice anniversary on Wednesday though. We ended up going to the movies. It was really fun. I still contest that this baby needs to come and come like right now. I am not sure if she has dropped yet or not. All I know is that walking and going pee is a challenge each time. My vagina area is really.....swollen I guess you can say. It is really sensitive. I have no idea if that is associated with baby or not, but I am associating it with her to feel better and not freak out about any little thing. I feel pain in my hips, legs and hands. I don't know if any of you ladies are feeling any pain in your hands, but mine hurt like crazy at times. Then, when I sleep, my arms fall asleep. I so way want to sleep on my back but still can't. So my sister seems to make me feel even worse about the choices I make while pregnant. I wrote on my Facebook account about what the Dr told me last week that the baby will be here soon, she wanted to know what my deal was and why I went to the ER. I felt bad for snapping at her but told her it was a regular Dr. appt and that I was just saying what I was told. She told me to give up the idea of giving birth early and that my labor will be hell. Oh man I love my family. My other sister, Brandi, asked me if I was crowning the other day. She has a head injury from a car accident from........20 years ago I think it is now. So she has no idea what Marriage, pregnancy, babies, general stuff is like. It made me laugh. She is constantly trying to tell me what to expect when the baby comes and stuff to expect while pregnant. I just have to laugh and say what ever. My sister Kim came by to give me an invitation to my baby shower today. The cute thing is, her 6 year old daughter is the one who wanted to throw me a shower. Pretty much the whole thing was her idea. I thought it was cute. So the shower is next sunday at 2 at my moms house. I am really excited to get a shower. Even though it will just be me, my mom, Kim and Emily (daughter), Treva and her daughter Shelby who is also Em's age. Josh asked if he was alloud to go. I told him if he really wanted to but that it wasn't all that he thought it was going to be. He said he would rather stay home and catch up on some sleep he knows he will need next week. I don't blame him. Do any of you ladies find it hard to sit with thier legs crossed? I have no problem with my right leg most of the time but when I start putting my left leg up, it throbs and my pelvic bone starts to hurt. Once I get it up, it can stay there for like 5 minutes then it has to go back down. I also feel the need to stretch it but it wants to stretch more than my leg has length to do so. Well, I don't really have anything else to say, except I hope these next 23 days go by really.....really.....really quick!

Your pregnancy symtoms sound like mine but my vagina isn't swollen.... Soooo ready to be done as well. Hang in there. Even though it feels like we'll never be done it has been proven that pregnancy does end and thank god for that! lol!
