17-3-2010 - Hurt

My mood while writing this blog:
sad

It hass been two days since Olivia was born. I am really enjoying being a new mommy for the most part.The only thing I am not enjoying so much is my DH. Infact, the night Olivia was born, we fought pretty bad. My sister ended up telling my mom about why we fought and my mom came back to me and discovered the real reason behind the fight. She kind of knew before but brought it to my attention. I told her I really didn't want my in-laws to move in with us. She told me I needed to let Josh know how I felt. I did, and when I woke up this morning, I had a nice long email from DH telling me my reasons were bull shit and that he thought I would grow tired of Olivia after a month. I am still so hurt that he would respond this way. He has always been so understanding about how I feel but today I just can't believe what i read or how he reacted to how I feel. He hasn't spoken more than two words to me and blames me for making a decision that needed to be made. I am so hurt.

Im sorry that he did that to u, thats not fair, he should understand how u feel, I wouldnt want my inlaws to move in in a million years!!!!

Damn. That really sucks especially since were so emotional right now(well I am). Is their something about ur laws that u don't like? Or is it that I just want to be you Hubby and baby? I can't believe he would even think u would be tired of her after a month. She's not a toy! I'm sorry this happened to you. I hope it gets better.

hey congrats on Olivia !! kind of the same situation going on here - our house is being renovated for the next 3 months so we're going to stay with our in -laws which I'm not happy about - don't get me wrong, they're great. I just need my own space and privacy and quiet which I won't get so I totally understand where you're coming from.....
