04-6-2009 - Preg update June 05

My mood while writing this blog: A little sore but ok

Well I've got 9 weeks and 3 days or something like that to go! I had my antenatal appointment this week and EVERYTHING was good, I had the results back from my Gestational Diabeties test and levels are normal - they were a little high with Lachie and I had to do them again - they then turned out normal!

Hip pain, back pain and am hitting a mild case of heart burn - nothing like with Lachie though, I was sleeping on like 5 pillows to try and ease the heartburn! LOL Thankfully it's not that bad this time.

I packed Josiah's bag the other night still have a few things to get like HUGGIES wipes (I've been using the cheaper ones for Lachie now, but MUST have HUGGIES for a newborn!) Still have mine to pack!

Sorted out carseats - really would have loved a capsule but can't really justify spending the money and then having to buy another carseat anyway so we decided to get a Maxi Rider for Lachie and Josiah will just use his carseat - we'll wait for the tax money to come in for it though cos $$$ is quite tight at the moment - Phil's only got 13 hours next week - STUPID RECESSION. For now Josiah will use Lachie's old carseat (if he comes before the finances do!) A friend lent me her capsule but it doesn't bolt into our car - grrrr.

Lachs had his 18 month immunisation today - poor little man - it breaks your heart watching them go through it - I must say he was VERY brave and enjoyed a well earned lolly pop afterwards (so did me and Phil!)

So that's me for now - I have another u/s on Wed to check the placenta placement and make sure it's moved up apart from that - textbook pregnancy stuff and doing well still hoping for a July 29 baby (my due date by LMD) and my Mum's birthday - that way he'd be 2 weeks early and hopefully a nice size ie. not too big! Till x

Hey there... so glad to hear all is going well... i must say i haent thought of packing the bags just yet... thanks for the little reminder!! you looking wonderful though!!!

IM going to have some pregnancy pics with my little one next week, its a fathers day gift for Conrad... cant wait for that...

Hope you keeping well and thanks for the names Conrad loves Cristian... but im not so sure...
