04-7-2008 - 32 weeks tomorrow 05th July 08

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

I just got back from a consultant appt and they measured my fundus height and like when I had my daughter I am measuring small (my daughter was 8lb 51/2oz born at 39 weeks so was not small) so they did a growth scan. I am 32 weeks tomorrow and baby is measuring in head circ and femur length at 33 wks 5 days (so amost 2 weeks ahead of my actual gestation) and already weighs 4lb 6 oz so I guess the baby is not small at all so anyone worrying about being measured small or big don't fret as it is not accurate and now the consultant has just said I must have a wide uterus rather than long hence the small measurements.

On Wednesday the midwife said the baby was breech and today the consultant said the baby's head was engaged and the scan confirmed the head is down (not that it matters as I am having a c-section) and the baby is still a boy!!

I cannot believe my baby will be born in 7 weeks it is going so fast and I cannot wait to meet him (still need a name though but edging towards Nathan).

Hey hunni, not spoken for a while, glad your check ups have gone well and you are doing well. I cant believe how little time there is left till babies come! Have you got a date for your caesarean yet?

Sounds like everything went as expected at your appointment. Sometimes when things are the same as in a previous pregnancy, it makes us worry less. (I wish ANYTHING would be the same this time, but no such luck. This has to be a boy, LOL.)
7 weeks sure doesn't seem very long!! Are you packed for the hospital yet? (I was up with insomnia in the night again, so I did a small bag for when I go on vacation just in case. I was supposed to leave on Thursday morning but things came up, so I might leave next Tuesday for about a week. )
p.s. Nathan was a name I wanted to use, but h's cousing called his kid Nathan, so time for a change for me, but I love it.
