03-5-2008 - 30 weeks and counting contentMy mood while writing this blog:

I'm now 30 weeks along and I'm starting to feel all the aches and pains. I think that since this is my second baby I'am feeling more pain in my hips. They say that your body knows what is going on with the second one and starts spreading sooner. I feel pressure down there sometimes and wonder if I'm due sooner than my July 12th due date. My baby girl was measured via Ultra-Sound on Tuesday and was coming in at 3 lbs. 11 ounces which is a little larger than average but not too bad. My uterus was measuring at 37 cm's which kind of freaks me out. I'm thinking that maybe that's due from my extra "fluff"!!! LOL!

Overall, I'm feeling very happy and blessed. We're so anxious to meet our little angel, we have her room all painted pink and purple with big polka dots on the walls. Now, we have to get a new bumper (I don't care what they say, I 'm getting a bumper) and new curtains. Then it will be onto washing all her clothes and organizing them in her closet. I think we have a zillion projects going on right now. We're in the midst of painting our bedroom (chocolate brown and light brown), doing gardening, getting the old diaper changing table painted, buliding bookshelves....etc...etc....it can be overwhelming but I try to remember that this is the most blessed time in our lives and to take it all in. Our little boy who is 2.5 yrs. old is soooo active and ready to move from the moment he awakes until he goes to bed, his naps are getting shorter and shorter..YIKES! He is so wonderful, he kisses my belly and talks into my bellybutton to his little sister. He's proud to be a big brother. He's a sweetie. Speaking of him, I hear waking up now.....the fun continues!!!! Bring it on!!!

Congrats to you as you are almost at the end stretch to having your beautiful baby.
I am 35 plus weeks and i am having a c-section in 18 days which i cant wait for.
I have had 6 children hich the last 2 were born by c-section and this time i have been in and out of hospital with scar problems as my scar is thinning.
Anyway i go to hospital to see what is happening and if there is a problem then they will deliver. Either way its not long for you or me....

GOOD LUCK

i am pregnant with my second child as well and can see a difference. With my first I worked overnight as a stocker (6 day stretches) Up until my 37th week. With this pregnancy I am now 33 weeks and still working overnight as a stocker but just on friday and saturday nights and i'm exhusted!! My back is killing me .. I've been contracting since week 29..
I am also measuring big.. I am measuring 3 weeks ahead I have an u/s date set for the 14th. At 30 weeks my midwife said she was about 4.5 lbs. I am eagered to see what the u/s predicts.

How are you feeling besides the aches and pains.. ready for your little one to arrive?? Do you know what you are expecting?
