My mood while writing this blog: Ok |
Yesterday I had pelvic pain and pressure coming in waves from a.m. to p.m. Last night I got 3 really bad labor pains that were 2 mins apart and lasted 45 sec.'s. All a sudden to contractions stopped. I told my doc about it and she said it was PRACTICE LABOR!! Since I've had a baby before my body is practicing since it all ready knows what to do. Yeah cause I didn't get that w/ my 1st. It hurt bad but not as intense as I remember so I was confused that it stopped I told her. She said they sould start at 8 mins apart lasting 60-65 sec.and keep going for over for 1 hr and 1/2. Then I'm in real labor and call them. I said does this mean I'm gonna go into real labor soon. She said she can't tell me that. They don't want to see me before my next appointment which is Feb. 2nd. If I go into labor that's ok. They are happy w/ the progress of my baby??? Weird cause the new doctor I met 2 days ago on Wed. She said they would stop labor it at 35wks and that's why I need to stay on moderate bedrest. But my normal doctor said yesterday, No they will let me deliver. So since they don't want to see me asap or check my cervix. I'm wondering how much more dilated I became from yesterdays events. The nurse told me on the phone I'm probably dilating. It's weird how the new doc said one thing and my regular doc said another???? I guessing my regular doc knows me and my baby better. Of course I'm still worried. To top it off a snow storm is coming tonight and we can't find any firewood. I pray Please YHWH make this baby stay inside me and don't let our electric go out! Amen.

Monday, 1 Feb i think they would most definitley prefer that your baby would stay in until at 37weeks but if the baby came at 35wks, i think they would give you antiboitics and steriods to progress the babys lungs to better the chances of survival and lessen the chances of going to nicu and stayin longer than you in the hospital. but continue to stay on bedrest and take everything with a grain of salt. Dont forget you know your body better than anybody else. Continue to pray to Yehweh! pugdunn -

Friday, 29 Jan It can be very confusing at times with so many different opinions. But I would agree that your baby is probably fine to enter the world pretty much anytime. Of course 37 weeks is better than now, but still. My OB told me they don't stop labor once you reach 35 weeks, so I did think it was a bit odd you were told some different. But now that has been corrected. Wishing you all the best! Love and prayers, Karin bubbylove -

Friday, 29 Jan Your in my thoughts! I think its also weird that one dr says one thing and the other says something else. Just lay down and take it easy! Dont stress and you'll be fine I'm sure! Littleone123 -
Friday, 29 Jan I'll pray for you!! Listen to the Dr. who knows you and your baby better; that is what I would do. Oh, it doesn't sound good... Babies, although tiny, have a very high survival rate at 35 weeks. You're in my thoughts.
