19-2-2010 - Good news!!!!!!

My mood while writing this blog: Excited!!!!

This mornings doctors appointment was full of surprises. My doctor that is gonna deliver my baby is 25wks pregnant on her 2nd child! Awe! I just noticed her baby bump today cause she's so skinny. This makes my all natural birthing experience even more special. She's such a sweet person too. I will feel like she'll be totally in tune w/ what I'm feeling emotionally and physically.
Even better news: I'm 3cm dilated and 75% effaced. My baby's head dropped even further to -1 station. She said she thinks I'll deliver this weekend. She said she'd be shocked if I make it through this week!!!!
Even better news: The hospital that I'm delivering at lifted the ban for no visitors under 18yrs old!!!!
YAY! My 22 mth old can come visit me in the hospital and meet his lil brother. OMG! I'm crying just thinking about it. Praise Yahweh!

That is tons of good news!! I'm so jealous. I had to go 3 days without seeing my daughter b/c of the ban. :( And then my baby was in the NICU so she didn't even get to see him till he was almost 6 days old. Congrats! When i arrived at the hopsital, I was 3, effaced 75% and head was at -1 station and 2 hours later I was 4, 100% and +2 station. So once your labor starts it prob won't take long! :)

Yeah!!!!!!!!!! That is all such good news. Especially that your son can come in with you. I hope I get that lucky too. I have a 7 and 5 yr. old that would love to come and visit me and the baby. My hospital is supposed to lift the ban at the end of March. Maybe I'll get lucky and they'll do it the end of Feb :) Hope you get to have your baby this weekend. Can't wait to hear all about it! xoxoxox

aww that's great! we are also looking at a ban on kids in the hospital so idk what i am gonna do with my son when i have this one...i hope my dr appt is as eventful as yours... but i doubt it will be... i was closed and nothing last time i went so... congrats to yoU!

great news!!! i wish i was dialated any! my doc said that i closed back up to 0cm dialated. didnt even know your body could do that! but thats great that youll be seeing your lo in a matter of days!
