Elijah : My ELOHIM (GOD) is YAHWEH Malachi: My angel or my messenger was born on 2/20/10 on the Sabbath. We predicted that JAH would bless us on the Sabbath and it came true.
So at 12:30a.m. Saturday my water broke. Very mild contractions started at 1:30 a.m.and I was 5cm dilated. At 4:30a.m. the pain kicked in full force and I was 8cm. All natural birth was still my plan. A hot bath worked a little to ease the contractions. All though a water birth was not an option or my choice. At 6p.m. I was 9 1/2 cm dilated and the pain was worse pain I ever endured than w/ my last delivery. I started to doubt myself. I kept praying for JAH to be w/ me and he did. At 6:20p.m it was time to push. It felt so good to push. Evertime I'd start to feel a contraction coming on I say ok let's push and when I did the pain would go away with each push. I had my hubby hold back one leg and my nurse the other leg. It felt soooo good to push. Now I remembered why I wanted an all natural birth. I could feel his head. It was amazing!!!!The head didn't hurt, because this nurse and doctor put mineral oil inside and outside my vagina and that made the head slide and rotate around. It helped me not tear at all. Plus my doctor guided me on when to push and stop and take a break so there would be no tearing. Great doctor!! I couldn't believe it. It didn't hurt at all to push his head out it stung a tiny bit and his head was out. Then a warm gush like jelly was his body and everything else.It was the best feeling in the world to feel him come out and put on my belly for delayed cord cutting. His cry was so soft and sounded like a kitten. His hair was black and wet and not thick. Just right. The way he looked in my dream. Just the same I couldn't believe it. His weight was 5lbs 8ozs. He was tiny. They're measurements were way off in the U/S they gave me. All this time I thought he was gonna be big. We just don't have big baby's. We are small in stature people. Anyways I watched the nurse give him his 1st bath and when she washed his hair and got all that stuff out and it dried. It was DARK BLONDE!! He's a blondie OMG! He he he! I love they way he looks. I'll post a pic asap. I love you ladies. Best wishes for a great birthing experience. What ever you may choose. God bless.

Congratulations! I will post my birth story as well. I was natural till 8-9 cm where I had a spinal block for an hour then the dang thing disappeared and it was time to push.
