05-2-2009 - 28 Week Update

My mood while writing this blog: Thrilled

We had our 28 week appt today and everything's going well! We found out we're having a little BOY and are so excited! I can't wait to meet this little man :-) They had concerns about my placenta at 20 weeks, but it's moved up and not longer a worry... thank goodness; I really didn't want a c-section!

Baby's been active and is measuring in the 74th percentile... taking after his daddy I'm sure, nearly 9 lbs at birth! Personally, I was hoping for a 6 pounder like me, but considering baby is already 2 lbs, 15 oz, I doubt that :-)

The ultrasound tech lady switched it to 3D/4D a few times and we got to kind of see baby's face (he's so handsome already), but he was all squished up by the placenta so we didn't get a great look.

I go in for my 1-hr glucouse test tomorrow... hoping all goes well!
