I am 38 weeks 4 days and am only 50% effaced and 1 cm dialated!! We are in the same boat! My induction date will be set for may 7th! Doesnt this kinda suck! I almost cryed when she said I have made no more progress! Did you get an ultra sound to see how much he wieghed!?

Hi all,
Had 38 wk 4 days appt yesterday and still hadn't dialated past a 1 and 50%! My dr said he won't induce yet because my cervix is still too posterior and it would create a high risk for c-section. He said that he wouldn't be surprised if baby hangs out for a while longer; I have an induction date set for May 5 just in case. 2 weeks seems so far away, but in a way, it's nice to have a date! I'm a little unsure about how big baby will be as he measured almost 7 1/2 lbs last week!
