31-8-2009 - 1st HCG

My mood while writing this blog: Happy and Content

I went to the codtor tonight and He didnt realize I would was 3 weeks 5 days and said there is no point in doing an ultrasound but he did my HCG and it is 106.8 the nurse told me. I have my appointment for my first scan on Sept 14th Monday morning!He said we should be able to see by then! (5 weeks 5days) YAY!!He looked at me and asked when I got the BFP and I told him Saturday on CD#25 and he said you were just here 2 weeks ago? and now you have a positive pg test? and I said YES...he smiled and looked at me and said WAY TO GO!!! LOL I LOVE HIM!!! Im on Preg Vit Folic 5 Baby Asprin and Calcum 1.5 grams Just seeing and talking to my OB made me feel sooo much better and now I know only 2 weeks till my scan!! So far Im feeling TIRED and up throught the night twice to pee...No change in the BB's yet! I also have a shortness of breath alot I had that early with my last 2 pregnancies too! Off to bed..night night

EDIT UPDATE

Dr called me this morning adn siad my HGC is in the normal to low range and wants to do it over again on Firday morning to make sure it is going up nicely. 106.8 is low if I were over 4 weeks when you usually can get a positive HPT but I took it early and got it at 3 weeks and that is unusual but I did do 2 HPT's after teh D&C and before my first AF so Im sure this is not left over hormons from my M/C in June and 106 is normal for just 3 weeks so we are going to check on Friday. Hopefully it will have doubled twice since Monday and will hopefully be around 424! FINGERS CROSSED!!!!
