24-9-2009 - need more peace of mind just praying and waitingMy mood while writing this blog:
just praying and waiting

altho the phone call from my OB was great news yesterday...I still feel I need some more peace of mind and I cant wait for 7 more days! I called his office again today and he phoned me back I explained that I am still bleeding and crampy and dont feel good about going back to work not knowing and still bleeding so he is going to see me this evening! What a wonderfuly doctor he is!! Ill be home resting and praying till DH gets home at 5:30 then we are off to see the OB he has an ultrasound at his office and he will probably do another scan tonight! Am I nuts...do you think im justover reacting? Should I have just waiting till next Thursday? I mean Im going no matter what but I just hope that the OB and DH understand why I need this...Im right, RIGHT???

I would do the same thing honey, it is so hard when your having complication such as bleeding! I would just tell your doctor how concerned you are and how much you appreciate his kindness and patience

I would have been banging down his door demanding another u/s!!! I would lie down in front of his car until he did it!!! So no, you are not over-reacting one bit!!! Good luck this evening - I will be thinking of you. Please let us know as soon as you get back - hugs xx

Oh hun I'm so sorry for what you're going through. We all know that worrisome feeling and it's completely normal. You don't owe anyone an explanation. I'm glad you called and are going to see him today. Thinking of you and wishing the best outcome for you and your baby.

This is your precious baby and you need to do anything that will give you a bit more peace of mind, and anything that your heart tells you to do. In my last pregnancy I didn't want to 'bother' the hospital and doctors, but I think we just need to if necessary. Hope you get good news tonight. Can the doctor send you to a more thorough scan, at a perinatologist for example? Also, can you take some time off from work? I think it is important for you both physically and mentally. Love and prayers, Karin

I would do the EXACT SAME thing. You should do whatever it takes to give you the peace of mind you need to be able to feel relaxed and comfortable. GOOD LUCK!!! Please let me know if you need anything. I will be hoping for great news tonight!
