09-1-2010 - spotting and numbers

So after feeling good all evening Thursday after seeing baby Mac's heartbeat at 102 I worked all day friday felt great no pains or spotting just the same lower back ache I have had. This morning DH took DD to ski school and I sat and watched. When we got home at lunch I was spotting again. Went to the ER and they just did a repeat Beta HCG it was 3929 and today went up to 4150.... NOT a good increase at only 221 in 2 days. They didnt do another U/S because it is the weekend they just told me since its only light spotting, no pain and their was an increase to just follow up with my OB on Monday. I know HCG is supose to double every 2-3 days but my Dr said as long as their is a baby in their with a good heartbeat that is all that matters....maybe im just grasping at straws...I dont know but I guess all I can do now is WAIT!

Lots of hugs and prayers to you, babe. Just remember that even though it doesn't feel like it, the odds are still in your favor since you've seen the heartbeat.

It's hard when all you can do is pray and wait. Hang in there hun. I know spotting is so frightening. What color is it? We are all praying for you and little Mac. What will your OB do on Monday? Will you have a scan? Keep us posted.

Hey sweetie in the beg of my preg I spotted bad off and on from wks 6-11 it was very scary and I thought each time that I was gonna lose him.try to stay pos and keep n mind wats meant to happen will happen.I hope things work out for you I lost my very first baby at 14wks and I knw how bad it sucks:( good luck and god bless
