04-11-2008 - 4th Ultrasound 11/04/08

My mood while writing this blog: happy

So today I got my 4th ultrasound with this pregnancy. This one was to check my cerivcal length since the last one showed that I have a shorter cervix than normal. The ultrasound tech confirmed that it was a girl! That makes me feel better because when I was first told it was a girl I was sceptic because it's easier to say girl then boy and then it really come out a boy. But this way I feel much better! We saw the 3 little lines again. Anyways, as for the results I have to wait for the dr. to call. If nothing has changed with my cervix I can go back to work until she is ready to come. If it has changed I will need to continue on bedrest. Either way is fine with me as long as she is ok. I do miss the money from work but that is about it. So whatever happens happens. Another good thing is she turned around her head is down now. I know she can still turn a few times before birth but it is good to know that she did turn and not in the breech position anymore.

This Sunday is my baby shower. I cannot wait! I am going to start washing everything and getting my hospital bag ready. This pregnancy has gone so much quicker than my first. I cannot wait to meet her but at the same time hubby is getting fixed and I will miss being pregnant too. We haven't came up with a name yet. We have a few picked out but nothing set in stone, this one is harder to pick then my first was as well.
