06-11-2008 - Baby Shower 11/09/08

My mood while writing this blog: Excited

so Sunday is my baby shower. I'm really looking foward to seeing friends and family since I have been on bedrest I don't get to see many faces. My thing is I HATE being center of attention. It makes me shy in a way. Any suggestions how to get through that? I also want to make everyone feel welcome and not make anyone feel like I am ignoring them- I just hope everything goes well. My mom and my sister have it all planned. They are having it here where I live so I won't have to move or carry anything anywhere else. I'm very excited to play games and see what all I get for the baby. Whatever I don't get I will have 10 wks (hopefully) to come up with whatever we didn't get. I'm kinda frustrated cuz we don't have our own place. I wonder where am I going to put all of it. Mason has his room so I will put her clothes and things with him. The basinett will be in our room and swing etc. will be down stairs in living room. I feel really bad not having her own room and now I have to invade some of Mason's space but a few months after she is here I/WE plan on getting our own house so they will each have their own rooms. So much on my mind, I think I am going through that "nesting" stage where I want everything done and organized. ugh!!!

On the brighter side. Monday I get to go back to work. Dr. said only part time, 4-hours a day. That is ok with me cuz I will be bringing money home but yet now have to work all day long and be exhausted. It's going to be really hard this month cuz my husband has off 2 weeks for Thanksgiving and 4 for x-mas. It gets really stressful around this time of year. It shouldn't be that way but it does. We have got through it every year till now so hopefully we will get through it again :) Thanks for listening (reading) to me. 29 wks 11 more to go- man this has gone by so quick. I can't wait to meet my lil girl.
