03-1-2009 - One More Week!!!!

My mood while writing this blog: excited/nervous

Well here I am! One week before going into the hospital to be induced. I can't believe the time is here! It doesn't even seem real yet. I cannot believe how fast this pregnancy has gone. I felt the best in my second tri-mester. The first one I was really sick, couldn't keep much down. Second trimester I was put on bedrest due to early labor. Now, my last trimester I am having so many pains I am just ready! I get up to pee seriously 5 times a night like every 11/2 hours, my legs and hips get extremly sore and my coochie now is even starting to hurt.

I go to the Dr's on Monday 1/5 at 3:40 he said he might sweep my membranes there and then we will see what happens. I might even set up a time to go into the hospital next weekend. I want to go in next Saturday night or Sunday Morning. I am getting a little nervous as to how things are going to go but I am also ready to meet my newest little one. I went all natural with my son and I would love to again this time but this pregnancy has been TOTALLY different then my first so I'm sure the birth will be too. I would even consider trying to get an epidural this time but since my insurance sucks Pain meds are the furthest thing from my mind.

Mason is very excited to meet his new sister all though I don't think it's too real for him yet either. After all we have been telling him now for 9 months he is going to have a sister. lol. Everything is washed and ready for Ashlynn to come home. The only thing left is getting her base hooked in which I am stopping by a fire station this week to have someone do it and last minute things for my hospital bag. I made sure and told my husband tonight that he better make sure everything is clean and all the laundary is done before we come home. I am a clean freak and if stuff isn't done when I get home, I will end up doing it and I just want to spend time with my new daughter and help Mason get aquainted with his sister.

I took out my nipple rings :( so sad to see them go but I want to breastfeed or try to again this time. I did with Mason but he had trouble latching on so I pumped for a month I will do the same for her if she doesn't latch on well but I hope all things go good and I can breastfeed for a few months.

Well 8 more days until we get to meet our little girl. I cannot wait! Good luck to all you other mothers and I am looking foward to sharing all of our birth stories and pictures!!!
