16-7-2009 - Kyle\'s therapy and update

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

So today was the day I have been waiting for....

I took kyle today to see a doctor for some TSS sevices. Basically his TSS would take him places and work with him just like his other therpists does but more indepth. They even take him shopping with me and would be in charge of him, more less of an aide.

The agency that I took him at, the doctor recommended 15 hours A WEEK of TSS services and another 3 of another therpist to come in and see if he is doing good and what they can do to better the service and work with him. He also has OT and "play" therapy which isn't called that but I don't know the proper term, both of which is 1 hour a week (with each). =]

Weather or not my son gets the full 15 hours all depends on the company that the agency contracts out. I really hope he gets approved! We now work with him on touching rice and beans! he did an awesome job today with me he dug into it on his own! =]

We saw his nutritionist again on tuesday, they found a corn allergy also so we have cut that out. He starts treatments in sept!! I am also going to call his ped and ask for a script for mercury and lead levels that are in my son.
