My god, I just came across your page somehow and read this, I am so sorry for what you have to go through. I have read alot about vaccines and we decided not to get our kids any more vaccines after the first one they got (which we felt pushed into) and I agree with you about the pharmaceutical companies. I wish you the best of luck

Hi,I just came across your blog, although, I can not relate to the Autism, I can however, relate to the MMR shot, and it's not just Autism it causes. My son was born healthy, 7lb 11.5oz, Like your son crawling at 4 months, walkin on his own by 7 months, always eager to learn. Nothing stopped him. But by the time he was 12 months old, he had the MMR shot, and it changed him. He started to get violent, At 14 months old, he hit my sister on the head with a claw hammer, I knew this was NOT normal behavior, and he did not learn it from me, I had to deal with this till he was 2. Found out, that the MMR shot caused my son to become ADHD along with OD. It has been a very long journey with him these last 9 years. But he got put on medication when he was 3. He is now a very bright child, eager to learn again. He's in the 3rd grade doing 5th grade Math. When my daughter was born in 2002, I refused to give her the MMR shot. Not all at once, she got them seperately. And she is fine. My aunt who's a nurse told me not to let the doctors give my son the MMR shot all at once, I didn't listen to her. I'm liike she's a nurse what could she possibly know...well I wish I would have listend to her. I wish you the best of luck. I wish there was a cure for all the doctors mess ups, but there isn't.Take care. God Bless you and your son.

Wow, I have heard about Autism but honestly had no idea what it was really about. I cannot even IMAGINE what you must have felt like when he was diagnosed especially knowing that the vaccine had something to do with it. I have a question though, is this the only vaccine that allegedly causes/contributes to Autism? Or is there other ones I should be worried about? And what exactly is the 'MMR' vaccine for? If you could please leave a message on my page, I would really appreciate it. Im very interested. Thanks hun! xx

Carol, just follow your gut and do what it tells you. You know your kids better than anybody do what you feel is right who cares what anybody else says. As for those people in the grocery store telling you to take control of him screw them tell them he's 2 your what 32 and you can't control yourself so why the hell should you expect a toddler to! People have no business making remarks or comments on anything it just shows there ignorance. Just keep your chin up and keep on truckin as they say i'm sure you will see improvments.

I totally agree with you and understand where you are coming from. When I was 15 my mom was a teacher to children with speech impediments and behavioral concerns. They put a certain little boy named James who is autistic into her class because of her patience and hard work with children. He simply flourished. His parents were wolves who disregarded everything my mother said and undid her hard work with him. But she got to him and now he is able to sit quietly and watch movies in a cinema, I have seen this myself. HAVE HOPE AND YOU WILL GET THROUGH. Not all children are the same, but with patience and dedication you will begin to see minor improvments. THe biggest joy I've ever had with a child was having James look me in the eye and say "Peas". Him eating Cherrios was another big milestone (He only ate salty/soft) I might not be a mommy yet, and I will not lie, I will pray to God to have a healthy child, but you are one of the few who knows they did what they must and all they possibly could as a mother. Personally I would nominate all mothers to children with Autism, Down Syndrome, ect for a sainthood.

you have done such a good job on your research. Just a teeny tiny FYI. vaccines has a very small amount of live viruses because once that virus hits you, your body will automatically build up the antibodies that will fight off the live viruses that came with the vaccine, and leaves all the antibodies behind. So if a baby is exposed to the virus again, he/she wont get it cause she already has the anitbodies. Just thought i would share lol but its awesome to see a mommy soooo active in this and just not letting it be what the diagnosis is. You need a mommy award!!!! :)
