28-7-2009 - Third Prenatal Appt.

My mood while writing this blog: Excited and hopeful. but trying not to get my hopes too high.

So, i went to the Doc. yesterday. I have gained a total of 6 lbs so far, so i am 143.5 lbs now. She said it doesnt matter that i have not gained the 10lbs that ur suppose to by 20 weeks cus i will probably just make it up later on. My blood pressure was good cant remember what it was tho lol. And she had the doppler there so we could hear the heartbeat. it took her a while to find it but she finally did. she said it was going a good 150-160 bpm.

And!! ............... I have an ultrasound TOMORROW!! so i am keeping my fingers crossed and i am going to pray that we will be able to see its gender. I think its going to be a boy.... still lol. My doctor said that usually boys are more active and i told her about how i was getting hard kicks already. But she also said that the old wives tale myth is that 140 bpm and up is usually a girl and 140 bpm and below is usually a boy. Either way we are going to be sooooo happy to know if its a little he or she!

So, i will update again tomorrow after my big day!! :D Please pray for us so we will be able to see its gender!
