My mood while writing this blog: ok

So I am really upset with my best friend, and I dont think it is just the pregnacy hormones but maybe I will get some input from you ladies on your thoughts.

First lets start off that this girl is seriously my "go to" person for everything, if you have ever watched Grey's Anatomy, shes my Christina and I am her Gray... we have been friends since we were 16 and I am almost 29 so I think that says a lot. We werent always super close but we have been for the past 5 years or so.

Anyway to make a long story short, her husband was not allowed into the US for 3 years, I worked really hard to help her peitition for his residency - I wrote plenty of letters and even wrote and did research for her petition (that we had to write two times). I helped get together all of the necessary documentation - I even made picture books and everything! So anyway, after my hard work he got approved to come here which is great and I was so happy for her. Before he came here, we talked and I was like I am really worried I am going to lose you as a friend because her culture tends to cook/clean and really do everything for the husband and make little time for themselves.

So every few weeks we go out and things were good for the first month or two. And this this month we had plans to go to a movie and she cancelled on me like less than an hour before. So we re-scheduled for the next Friday and then she cancels on me and tells me her husband wants to do laundry and that she cant go. And when I told her I was really upset that she ditched me, (again!) after we had plans all she had to say was that I shouldnt be upset because it isnt like she was doing something fun.

I know her husband and I am pretty sure that he wasnt really like that, he appreciates all of the work I did for him and I feel like she is ditching me - and she's my person :( would you be upset? I guess I am going to have to start doing things with my other friends but I am really dissapointed. And she hasnt even talked to me since then and its been a week!

I would be upset too, maybe there's something going on that she's not telling you? It sounds like there would be, there has to be a reason why she's cancelling on you twice in a row. The fact that she said "it wasn't like she was going to do something fun" would upset me. Of course it would be fun to go out to the movies with you! I hope the two of you can talk it out and things can work out
