05-6-2008 - 8 weeks TiredMy mood while writing this blog:
Tired

Today I found out I have a bladder infection which is strange because I don't feel the symptoms. I grew up with bladder infections so I usually know right away. The doctor is afraid if I don't get it treated right away it could lead to miscarriage. He instructed me to drink lots of water and right now drinking water is sooo hard... it has the worst taste. But for "Little Fee's" sake I will try to drink water. By the way I started calling it Little Fee as it sounded better then "IT" and is short for Fetus. haha... It's caught on.. Keith is starting to use that name too.

Anyways the doctor said the bladder infection would make me tired and the pregnancy does as well and he seemed to be encouraging me to spend a day or two at home instead of work. Work is not very busy for me right now so I "think" I will be ok. He emphasized that the first trimester is an important time to rest and relax and that I shouldn't feel guilty if I miss a day of work here or there.

On a positive note my chest isn't as sensitive which is great! They were a bit sensitive for a while. And the nausea seems to occur less but it is still there.

I need some postive vibes that everything is going along smoothly despite the bladder infection. It takes alot of energy to keep happy positive thoughts especially since I have already experienced the physical pain and disappointment of a miscarriage.
