14-10-2008 - Details on our baby...

My mood while writing this blog: oops...

Just realized I forgot to mention so many of the details they gave about our baby at the ultra sound last week..

HeartBeat was 148 - so strong an loud! -( fun to hear)

He wieghed 14 oz! ( nice size :-) - I guess they really start to vary at this point and beyond depending on baby and what it's size will be, not neccessarily determining the gestational period or due date.

His measurements equalled a Feb 19th due date ;-) but they will keep it the 24th ( has gone from 23rd to 22nd to 24th) All relative right!?

Ok this is a little funny and not..- He was knockin his knees into his head when here I though he was all spread out then he was sticking out his tongue and also putting his hands on his forehead. cute - but then I freeked out asking my hubby , "Do you think that means he will be slow? (sticking his tongue out and hitting himself and all??)" My husband just laughed and laughed at me... Giving me confidence that he doesn't see anything would be wrong. :-) I still worry though...

We also got to see the brain and she said it looked good! Also his lips and mouth, and the ( T )- 4 chambers of the heart!

Really is so amazing having the privaledge to see an ultra sound of our little ones isn't it!?

Some days it makes me giggle out loud that our little guy won't stop moving. Bump, bump, pop, thump, roll and on and on. With only a couple minute break here and there through the day. Today and yesterday a little more rest but enough movement to reasure me- so that is nice too!;)

People are now asking what we think he will look like - Dark hair and eyes like my hubby or lighter like me and the girls..?? I think maybe light skin like me, and dark hair almost dark as daddy and brown eyes.. but we will see. So far our girls have blue eyes and light brown blond hair like me. What do you think he will have?? Do you have gut feelings on how your little one will look?

I do plan to put the U/S pics up soon - Not sure where I put them on our computer...?
