| 25-11-2008 - Name Response /Thank-you! | My mood while writing this blog:apppreciative, still uncertain |
WoW! Thanks to so many of you for responding! Amazing how many have choosen Nathaniel James. :-) It is so nice to get feed back. Each of the names are special for different reasons and my hubby and I like them all- but we are still uncertain.
Nathaniel was my grandfather who passed before I was born middle name. Also my mom was going to give me this name if I was a boy until her best friend took it for her son a few months before. :-) I too like how it sounds with James. --- My girls love this name as well. One problem is at least 3 out of 10 of the baby boys just dedicated at church have Nathaniel as a first or middle name. ( also the young gals at beauty school when I went for my refresher told me it was quite common) ...hmmmm.......
Caleb Benjamin - Benjamin was going to be my name if I had been a boy after Nathaniel was out. So yes - My mom loves it. Hubby and I like it too. Problem is I'm not real found of Ben as there is one in the neighborhood already ( 8yrs though) Caleb - I like :-) but just realized my hubby has a good friend who he sees freequently thats son's name is Caleb ... Man this is hard....!
Isaiah Daniel - Daniel is my hubby's middle name - which this was going to be my 2nd daughters 1st anme if she had beeen a boy. ( now my oldest daughter has reservations for this name as a first as there is a little boy with this name who is annoyiing to her and tried to copy her papers at school) - But we do still like the name a lot - Our 2nd daughter shares my middle name so that woudl be special too. - Isaiah - I like this name because it is unique and strong and again a biblical name that is a book in the bible that has so many great verses. So I think we are leaning more toward this name but still unsure. I don't know if Isaiah James sounds any better then Isaiah Daniel? If they are about the same I think my hubby would probably like him to share his middle name - I dunno....
- Maybe another name will hit me as perfect as time passes or one of these will begin to seem the most right. At this point I think we may have to wait to see him to make our final decision!!! ( This was so not a hard choice with our 1st daughter she was to be Allyssa Joy if a girl and Austin (something?) if a boy) - Now it seems a million Austins are in the area...
Thanks again so much!!! Let me know if you have any suggestions... I totally appreciate all your opinions! ( our last name starts with an S if that makes any difference) We all have such a special choice to make in naming our little ones - We are so blessed!
Have a great day!!!!!
