10-2-2009 - One more week!

My mood while writing this blog: happy but crampy

Hi Ladies! Congratulations to soo many who have had their babies! I miss the conversation with those but sure have been enjoying looking at the sweet baby photos. They are sooo cute - I cannot even believe it.

Well after getting online this early morning I started to experience the 1st real cramping of the night. Kind of surprising as latley I cramp all night and cannot sleep and with the full moon grvity pull I thought maybe something may happen... Guess not.. Oh well -

Only one more week here! Would like to go into labor natural but I'm excited to have an end date in mind. Was at the dr yesterday and made a little progress from last week -At least the baby's head is finally low and engaged! - I'm at a 3 instead of 2 1/2 - 3. I just thought with all the pains I have been having they may check and I would be between a 4-5 .. Oh well. My water will be ruptured at 8 AM on the 16th if I don't go sooner. I'm excited and a little nervous. My labors were so fast that is why they will induce me a bit early. - Yet the idea of being induced is a little scary to me. ( I worry about being in labor for extended hours- never labored more then 2 hours at the hospital - so this will be new to me) Please keep me and my baby in your prayers. ( I tested strep b- positive, so I need to be on antibiotic IV during delivery) Also invited my mom months ago to be in the room. Now am a little nervous about that.. My oldest daughter would like to join in too which is great. I love my mom so much but feel worried she may get bossy or ask a bunch of questions to the dr and staff that have already been discussed and would annoy me.. Not sure how to handle that esp if I'm in pain. I would rather not get all uptight, as being relaxed as possible is what got me through before.
