19-4-2009 - 2 Month checkup

My mood while writing this blog: I\'m sick.. boo

Friday I brought my 1st little boy in for his 2 month check!

He is doing good. ;-) I on the other hand have a horrible cold! Feeling pretty icky..... boo

He is now 12 lb 3 1/2 - 6 oz (kept moving) So now in about the 75% - From the 50% at birth of 8lb 9 oz!

His length is 25 inches still above the 97% same as the curve at brith of 23 1/2 inches!

His head possibly measured wrong as it grew from 14 inches of 50% - to 15 to 15 1/2 inches which is between the 10th-25% ---- The doctor said that this can be the easiest measurement to mess up though, as sliding the tape up or down front or back can change it.. Anyway - being he is grasping at things and alert and all other growth is good there is no need for concern! whew.. Although hopefully it will hop back up to at least the 50th% again!

So he has been growing just right for him! Mommy is proud! :-)

Our appt went from 9 -11:20... Yes, Tons of waiting!!! He did awesome all smiles and sweetness! ( We cuddled nursed and walked around a bit) When the Dr come in to visit it was soo cute as Isaiah would look at Dr and back at me as we had our conversation. For several minutes he appeared to be intently listening to all we said, and it was so darling as he was cuddled naked in a soft banket in my arms! ( he seems so smart and I think adorable of course!)

Better go--- He needs me again. ( maybe being sick is making my milk supplygo down or interefering with let down) Home from church today-- I hope tommorrow isn't too hard.. when the girls are back to school and hubby at work....
