06-7-2008 - I hate pancakes

My mood while writing this blog:
eh.

Hay momma's ☺ I was wondering who is managing to exclusively breastfeed still? Mya is 4 weeks old and we're still at it :/ I'm wondering if anyone knows why she might be doing this weird thrashing when I'm feeding her? It's like now that I don't 'engorge' as much, she doesn't like my boobs! She swings her head around, grunts and whines,gags on my boob even! and keeps getting off and on again...seems like she's hungryafter a half-hour,and yet when I try to express with my hand, milk still comes out... Is it because my boobs are too floppy? is she choking on my boobs? lol, They are definately 'deflated' but I can't figure it out. I bet if she could talk, she would say 'mom I'm too young to be fed pancakes!' lmao

Ivy does the same thing! I thought it was just her, I have no clue why she does it..I produce a lot of milk and I was thinking that is why she coughs and pulls away because she is choking on my milk..hmmm

my son does this alllllll the time.... heres what I have found...he either needs a burping..then back on my boob.. hes pooping/peeing ..and he needs a moment.. his tummy is upset (wich then it really sucks cause nothing you do will help)...or he is actually full but wants to use my nipple as a pacifier..but keeps getting milk out of it and gets fusterated over it.. when its this case I usually hand him off to hubby with a soothie pacifier.. he calms down quicker this way.. when Im alone it takes a little longer but still all it really was was his need to suck.. hope this helps a little.. I know thats a lot of choices to have to figure out wich one it is..but through each time your daughter does that ..you will start recognizing wich grunt means what..lol

i can't even comment cuz i have a visual of your boobs now, lol and i really thought this had to do w/ pancakes, i'm all done breastfeeding got an infection and started antibiotics so i'm in process of drying up, hurtz like hell,

I wonder if she's peeing. I had read that infants do this during breastfeeding when they urinate. You might check her panties (hehe) and she if she's wet.
