03-9-2009 - Long, Overdue Update (Pics)

My mood while writing this blog: hungry

So as I promised, updates..updates..and more updates.

My 30 week & 1st bi-weekly appointment went as well as I'd expected. My pumpkin and I are doing great! I've gained 2 pounds in two weeks which is right on track, according to Dr. Culbreth. It takes my total weight gain to about 17 pounds. A grand total of a whopping 154 pounds! WOWZERS! It sounds like a lot, but I swear I'm all belly, hips & behind. My son's heartbeat was perfect. And we giggled because he was moving so much while my doctor and I were trying to listen to it. He is still as active as ever! Also Kaiden is measuring corectly. I passed my Glucose test. My blood pressure was 124/80. And she told me that I would start my internal exams at 37 weeks. YAY! Oh & my next appointment is Sept. 8. I'll blog after every visit from now on.

Moving on..my baby shower was on Aug. 29 and when I say I had a great turnout you would have to be there to see for yourself. I have never been to a baby shower where the mother got EVERYTHING that she needed. Well at mines I did. And what I didn't get, the $300+ I got allowed me to do so. I feel extreemly blessed. Kaiden's dad also came through and did his share..he bought the crib bedding. I didn't think he would, but I thank God that he did. Enough rambling.. I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story for me. Enjoy lovies.
