| 11-9-2009 - 32 Week Update + Good News! | My mood while writing this blog:okay |
My 32 week appointment went extremely well! I've gained my 2lbs in 2 weeks. My total weight gain so far is 19lbs bringing me to 156lbs. Not too bad. I'm just hoping I don't gain too much more weight in my last 6 weeks. My son is measuring correctly for 32 and 1/2 weeks. According my doctor he weighs approximately 3 and 1/2lbs. He's gaining roughly a half a pound a week. So I don't expect him to be too big..maybe 6 and 1/2 to 7lbs but we'll see soon. My Blood Pressure was 100/70. Seems kind of low, but my doctor assured me that it's normal and better than being high. She's not concerned, so neither am I. Kaiden's heartrate was 145. And he seemed to have moved throughout the exam.
Good News: My son is head down in the birthing position. As she found his heartbeat below my belly betton. In which she always has. So now I'm wondering..how long has he actually been head down? Oh well it doesn't matter. Let's just hope he stays that way. Also I expressed to my doctor that I'd recently moved and the commute to the hospital where I'm delivering at is about 45 minutes to an hour away depending on traffic. And I asked her if I should still wait until my contractions are 5 minutes apart before coming in as I was scared that I wouldn't make it on time. She kindly replied, "No. I'll induce you a week before your due date." Man, I was so happy! Smh..I don't want to deliver in the car! LOL
I've also finished my son's nursery, packed his hospital bag, washed and hung all his clothes..blankets..bibs & socks. So now all there's left for me to do is write my birth plan & pack a small bag for me. I'm so glad to be done with everything, you have no idea! So yea, that's the good news.
Congrats to those who have recently given birth & labor dust to those who are patienly waiting. Muahhh!
