09-6-2009 - Post.P. Check up & feeling better

So, I went to the doctor today for my follow up check up, and everything was okay. I was concerned due to the fact that I had a 3rd degree tear, and it is still very tender, but she said that is because there are still stiches underneath that take longer to heal, so she told me to continue not having sex at least until next week when I get the mirena put in. WOOHOO,..... a doctor telling me not to have sex, now I dont' have to fake headaches!! hahahaha, just kidding!! I was put on strict pelvic rest until now, and I wouldn't be surprised if she tells me to wait a little longer after the mirena is put in. When she was checking my cervix, it was pretty painful, so I'm a little scared about having the mirena put in, but I'll just put on my big girl britches and get it over with. :0)

I had written in my last blog about my birthday sucking, but thanks to one of my best girlfriends, it turned out to be nice. I called Annie in tears and she said, "You tell Chris to watch the kids, and come over here. I'm taking you to dinner and anything else you want to do." So I took her up on it. Of course I didn't let her pay for the entire dinner, but she did buy me ICE CREAM after!!

As far as DH is concerned, I don't know, this time I think it was primarily my fault. I've been really stressed and I think my attitude was pretty ugly from the time I had woken up. Not that he can't be a whiny jerk sometimes, but I definitely escalated the whole situation. (can I still blame it on hormones?) I think so! It was the hormones damn them!! he hehe. He is gone for 3 days. His friend have taken him to a Phish concert in TN. which is good that we can have some time apart, maybe we will actually miss each other.

On the way home I ran into a HUGE storm with hail and everything, luckily my girls were sleeping but my poor son was terrified. I was only a little worried because I already have a huge crack in my windshield and I really did not want the hail to make it worse! But it was over quickly and now I am at home chillin like a villain.
