ouch ouch and more ouches!! I got the mirena put in today and I am cramping like an ant with a crowbar up its' butt. GROSS! And now i have to wear a pad from the bleeding. I was so happy to get rid of pads..... my sister in law says that it is only a couple of days of cramping and bleeding, and the doctor said it COULD be up to a month of cramping and bleeding. UGH, sometimes being a female really stinks! I got home and gave DH the stink eye..........! I have come up with the best punishment for my older children when they are running and screaming around the baby's door during her naps. I made them sit in her room for a couple minutes while she was crying in her crib after they woke her up. This was quite barbaric, but greatly effective! Ahhhh,... the sweet torture. JK, they made it out okay, and they are not scarred (not that I am aware of) : ) Oh! I was sitting in the room waiting for my IUD, and I was reading the Mirena brochure. Well it stated that it was not conclusive, as to how it works. Mainly it could make it to where the sperm never fertilizes the egg, or it keeps the fertilized egg from sticking. SOOOOOOO,........ I've decided to solve this moral dilemna, I will just chart my fertile days from whenever I start my first period, and I just won't have sex during my most fertile days. Just to give me that piece of mind, that I'm not conceiving and passing the fertilized eggs! GENIUS!! Okay well, good luck to all my beautiful and round friends :) Good luck to all of my friends who are working towards being beutiful and round, (and will be soon!)

Good luck with the Mirena! Ive had it for about a year now and havent had the greatest of luck with it. First my hair was falling out like crazy. I had to clean my brush every single time i used it. It was awful. Now its a little better but im on my period probably about 3 weeks out of 4. I would get it taken out but im afraid ill forget the pill and end up with another set of twins or somethin. Lol...plus i have no insurance right now, so that another huge reason why. I guess its just not for me. I have 4 friends on it and theyve had no problems what so ever. One of my friends had hers taken out a few days ago tho cuz shes wanting to try for another baby and she said it was pure torture! OUCH!!! Now i really dont want it out!!!
