| 13-3-2010 - Talk about a letdown.... |
My mood while writing this blog: blue |
This is in no way baby related or pregnancy related,.. but I have no one else to vent to without bursting into tears. I work my butt off in school, AND I take care of 3 children.
I get a letter asking me to become a member of the Phi Theta Kappa chapter at my school because of my high GPA. I was so excited!! Then I tell people in my family, and they act like it's such a joke because it's a community college. I bust my ass, all the while not asking anyone for help. I just know when I graduate they are going to make jokes about how it must be really easy to graduate college these days. They are such freaking jerks!!!

Monday, 15 Mar Total jerks! to be able to work that hard with little ones at home you should very well be proud of yourself! who cares if it's a community college, it's still work and it's hard. Kudos to you girlie!! tribegirl11 -
Monday, 15 Mar community college never gets the credit it deserves. Just because 1) It's affordable and 2)they accommodate people who work/have children. I have 2 different associates degrees from the same community college, and let me tell you what!--the course work is not easy! I didn't have kids when i went to college, but I was working full time and taking all my classes at night and weekends. You give yourself a pat on the back, because you're doing an amazing job. Just because you're not off living in a dorm room, partying every weekend, and getting $50,000 a year in debt from college doesn't mean that you're not attending a "real" college! MrsMommy2 -
