Hey ladies! I just wanted to say hello to everyone because I don't feel like I've been able to say thanks to those who commented. I've been so busy with Brady and getting the hang of being a Mommy! I've not had much sleep in the past 2 weeks (he's two weeks today!) and I'm still trying to make some sort of schedule out of all the chaos. Anyway Brady lost his umbilical stump this evening. Thank God because it was beginning to stink horribly!

Well I hope everyone is doing well and that all new babies are getting along nicely! Sorry I've not been on much but I'm sure you can all understand!!

Hi Rosa. My babys stump began to stink too the day before it fell off. Thank goodness I didn't have to smell it any longer than that. It was just about unbearable.

My baby slept TONS at first due to her jaundice...now she has gone through a couple of spurts of fussiness. I guess maybe it is her growth spurts doing it or something. I don't know. We seem to be pulling out of this one now. But, it was three days. Hopefully I can get some more sleep now. Not to mention that SO MANY people keep coming to visit and that keeps me from sleeping during her naps, like I should.

awh i feel bad that you havent got any sleep my son is now 3 weeks old and only wakes up to eat about every four to 5 hours. i guess im lucky. i hope it gets easier for you.

Hi Sweetie!! It will get easier, I promise!! In a few months you will be able to do everything with your eyes closed and you will be able to tell what every cry and wimper means. Enjoy the baby, we all have plenty of time to chat with you later!! Take care!!
