| 16-5-2008 - When it all falls down...(Warning TMI) | My mood while writing this blog:Ok |
Pregnancy sure comes with a package. Last night I came out the shower and just lied down watching tv basically just letting the air dry me. So when I got up now to get my lotion I felt something wet on my leg…I wiped my leg, but then something wet again hit me right on my thigh. So I look up at my ceiling wondering what the hell? I’m not crying…I don’t have a runny nose…I don’t drool…so what could it be? Well I decided to look at my breast. Sure enough it was pouring out colostrum! I mean I’ve been leaking on and off since like 24 weeks…but to see it flowing out like that was quite weird…and it continued to do so for the night. Thank God I bought breast pads already they came in handy.
So this morning I wake up and go to use the washroom..I’m sitting there and feel something coming out of my woo ha. I’m like wth?!?! I was so scared I jumped up. I dunno call me crazy but this whole pregnancy I always get scared when I use the toilet, especially earlier on in the pregnancy when I was worried abut miscarriage, I always looked down wondering if I would see something I didn’t want to see..this time I was thinking what if it’s the umbilical cord, the babies hands…head? (I know I’m an idiot…like I wouldn’t be feeling some kinda pain, I wish it was that easy to push babies out) However, I looked in the toilet bowl and sure enough it was the good old mucus plug! *Kaprice this part is definitely for you* I took a q-tip and poked at it…and sure enough it was that nasty blob!! I was all smiles, I mean as we all know it doesn’t mean sh*t to loose your plug, because women stay preggers for weeks after that, but I have to say I was happy to see it, hell I didn’t even want to flush the toilet I was treating it like some sort of shrine. Well to be honest, there has been lots of cramping this morning, may be from yesterday’s check up, but I just hope it continues and turns into the real deal. Oh well this has me in higher hopes…whether it should or not…but hell I’ll take it!
