29-8-2008 - Can you burst with Happiness??

My mood while writing this blog: Bursting!!

Today was the best day ever!! Let me start at the beginning.....

Cole had his 2 month checkup this morning and was sooooo good for the doctor. He's super healthy so my doctor is very happy with everything we've been doing!! At birth Cole was 5lbs 14oz and 19inches and now only two months later he is 13lbs 2oz and 24inches. My little man is growing so fast!! We have to go back next week for his first shots.....definitely not looking forward to that!!

Next it was a fun trip to WalMart for some diapers and of course a couple new toys.....I have a bad habit of picking up toys for Cole everytime I go out. He needed some soft rattles (all his small toys are hard) so I picked up an Eeyore Plush rattle and two Rattle Bracelets. They are just drying at the moment and I can't wait to try them out!!

Then comes the best part.......We got home in time for feed time and while feeding I heard him have the explosive type of poop....I was in for a super full diaper that I wanted to change before we had "Poop up the Back" which is bad news for his WHITE onesie that he is wearing. Off we run to the nursery and the change table. I lay Cole down on the table and tell him "PHEW you STINKY!!!" and he looks me directly in the eye, then his eyebrows go up as a huge grin spreads across his face and then he starts giggling!! GIGGLING!! ...IT WAS SOOOO UNBELIEVABLY AWESOME!!!!! He is soooo cute!! It didn't even matter that it was probably the worst poop to date......He is sooooo awesome......
