| 24-4-2009 - I was born with Epispadias (a birth defect) and JUST figured it out YESTERDAY!!! | My mood while writing this blog:oookay..... |
Is anyone framiliar with a birth defect called Epispadias? It's a condition where the urethra is not positioned correctly and occurs in both males and females... This is crazy but I was actually born with this and JUST YESTERDAY discovered that I had it because all of my life I just considered it normal... this is kind of TMI but this is how it affects me and WHY I thought it was normal...
My clitoris and urethra are completely switched around in their positions on my area and I never had any problems with my urethra except multiple UTI's when I was growing up... and I never noticed anything wrong with my clit until I started having sex (I have barely any feeling in it so thinking that just because it is next to the vagina that it is going to increase orgasims... not so much!).. I wasn't like other teenagers so I didn't experiment in high school with myself or other people so I was unaware until I was looking at a diagram of a vagina to show where the perinium was to show me that my organs were reversed... No one ever noticed that my organs were reversed when I was born or even recently at my last pelvic exam because on the outside, they look identical to what they would look like if they were opposites (my pee hole looks like a clit and vice versa)... I am going to talk to my doctor about it when I get a chance again because I want to know more about it... but I was saddened to know that sometimes it can be passed through generations.. so I worry that my little one will get it (it affects males and females)...
