My mood while writing this blog: In Love

To Love Him More

7-29-09

His hands are holding me

Yet… they are not at the same time

His fingers wrap around my growing belly

In anticipation of what is to come

I can still hear his soft whispers fill my head

And his lips are still felt by my ear

Even though he is not speaking to me

He has a new woman in his life

And she holds private conversations with him

While I sleep

I can feel the gentle stirring inside of me

When his voice echoes into my belly

She is speaking to him again…

His hand quickly moves to where she is

And she kicks for him

She already loves him…

I witness the look of joy on his face

When she moves for him

She is already so very strong

Just like him

His eyes meet my own

And his lips curl into a bright smile

She is the new woman in his life

And I love her to death…

His hands move from my belly

To my heart

And then to my shoulders and

My back

He holds me close and whispers

Into my waiting ear

“You two are my everything,

My world,

My future.

I survived my past to have you both.”

And his lips move to mine.

With is body against mine

He can feel her stirring while he holds me

His little daughter

And in those moments

I cannot possibly love him any deeper
