28-4-2008 - My baby is kicking away!

My baby is making his or her presence known!! Just kicking away. Yesterday, in church, I prayed for the health and strength of my family....and then I said, "Lord, just give me a little reminder that everything is ok". And then baby went nuts: Just kick, kick, kick, punch, punch, punch! I couldn't stop smiling! Almost laughed outloud! This is just one more reminder that my life's dream is coming true!

I have a cute little tummy...but haven't gained much weight. I am feeling good. Word on the street is that "pregnancy absolutely agrees with [me]" I feel happy, I found the store that works for my fashion tastes (YAY, Mimi Maternity!) and most importantly, my baby is growing nicely.

People are being so nice: Yesterday, church was PACKED...like standing room only in every rooom of the whole building. I made my way into the sanctuary, but even the wall was standing room only, 2 people deep. Suddenly, a lady in a really packed row signaled to the usher, to bring me over to sit next to her. God bless the kindness of strangers!! Not sure if she noticed I am pregnant or just saw a relatively petite person who could squeeze in, but it was a blessing. When my brother arrived later, he told me he was glad to see I had gotten a seat, because as he was watching part of the service in the foyer, he was hoping some one had "given his pregnant sister a seat!" How cute. When he finally saw me after the service he looked at me and said, "Wow! You're pregnant!" (The tummy has grown since he last saw me.) lol!

Yeah, Eddie, I am pregnant!
