22-10-2008 - A Very BaD DaY!!!

My mood while writing this blog: a wreck

Okay so lastnight I woke up with to BIG RED LUMPS on my thigh. It kept me up all night in pain. This morning I went to my family doctors thinking it had nothing to do w. the pregnancy. Well I found out I have a staph infecton!! He cultured them. It was so painful!!! He didn't want to numb me because it's ify being used on prego women. He told me we will get the culture back in a couple days.. he thinks it's MRSA. The worst staph you can possibly get. He said if that's what it is I would be hospitilized ASAP due to being pregnant. He said I could pass it on to our baby. He was to concerned at this moment because he said it would have to go untreated for awhile before the baby would get it. Well i only heard the bad parts. I came home histerically crying. My husband thought something terrible happened. I called the OBGYN and they said to stay calm until the culture comes back. Well...long stroy short I have had MRSA before and my youngest son was hospitilized 2 times this year in a pedatric hospital for it. So I know I have it. My hubby is napping and I am then going to the hospital. I can't wait for that culture....my doc said they can do immediate blood work in the er. It's like health care proffesionals expext you to stay calm. I keep crying over everything today.

I know this is terrible but i had a cig today on top of all that. I am not going to have anymore...I just needed it to cope with the stress!!!! My hubby would kill me. (Please don't judge) And why I am on a rampage today there is someone one this site who posted her stillborn twins. I cant imagine what she was going through.... but It scared me sooo bad I was worried about that all night. The pictures are stuck in my head. It's anyones worst fear thats pregnant as it is. Is it me or would that upset any of you. Anyways sorry to ramble!! Thanx for anyone who listened.
