13-1-2009 - Went into pre-term labor

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

So today I went to the hospital after talking to my OBGYN. I had extreme pressure that was hurting. To my suprise I was showing sighns of pre-term labor. My doc said I was contracting pretty good. They tested my urine and did all that fun stuff. They increased my fluids and got the contactions to stop. They really didn't come to a conclusion as to why it happened. My doctor did say he was very low and I would probably be uncomfortable until he comes. (Like everyone else wants... hopefully early...lol) But who knows. I guess the more kids you have the more likely it is to have them a little early and/or have them drop early. I didn't needed a shot to stop labor like w. my last son... so im not sure how I could have been in pre-term labor? Oh well.. they baby is okay and thats all that matters.

I also wanted to add I gained no weight in the last 2 weeks. Since oct. 30 I only gained 4 lbs. I eat alot.. and its mainly sweets so I was concerned. I am normally really small so I think the smaller you are the more you can gain. My doctor said it was good that I was maintaining a stable weight. I also bought a really cute robe for when I have the baby. I am getting so excited. I can't believe it is almost the middle on Jan....yay!!!!

Sorry I might not be making sense.. the kids are hovering over me. But Nikki is doing GREAT!!! Thanks for all the advice. Everything seems to be working out!! He is getting into a routine and I am loving it!! Take care everyone!
