10-1-2010 - Update on things & pix of the boys!

My mood while writing this blog: happy

Just a little update because I have the time to write one! Daddy has Wyatt outside playing in the snow and O'ey (our nickname for Owen Wyatt started it!) is laying beside me sleeping. The formula switch seems to be helping him out I haven't noticed any blood in his stool since we've switched and he is pooping a lot more at one time before he would poop a lot through out the day but it was very little at a time. And basing it off of the hand out the hospital gave me the color/consistancy seems to be what it should be so i'm hoping his little belly is feeling better! He is such a good baby he is never fussy its hard to believe since the poor little guy had to have such a sore belly he never fussed. He seems to have a very laid back personality not much bothers him as long as he has a full belly and a clean diaper he's a happy man. We took him on his first outting (other than dr. apts.) yesterday afternoon it was actually our first outing as a family of 4! DH needed new work boots and Wyatt I swear grew 2inchs over night because none of his pants fit him anymore so we went to the mall. I def. need some practice getting 2 of them ready and out the door! I got Wyatt dressed and all of his winter gear on and passed him off to daddy who was outside cleaning the snow off the car and warming the car up. And went to get Owen dressed into his snow suit I got him all dressed buckled into his carseat his cozy cover zipped up and I said Your getting ready for your first public outting O'ey what do ya think? And he started to poop! haha so I yelled out the door to cory we're gonna be a little bit O'ey decided now was a good time to poop! So I give the little man a few minutes to do his business get him all back out change him redress him suit him all back up and we were off. On the way there Wyatt fell asleep in the car which usually means if we wake him up before he's ready he's gonna be a grump! So I was thinking man I can't win today! We got to the mall DH got the double stroller out we got both kids situated in Wyatt suprisingly was in a good mood I think he was just excited to be out of the house he's been stuck at home w/ me for weeks! I started to push them into the mall and I said to DH wow this is hard to push are you sure the brakes are off on the front he said yea they are off you whimp you need to get into shape lol and i'm thinking man I must be out of shape I feel like i'm pushing 100lbs here! I had to fight it to get it to turn like literally drag it and finally I had enough I stopped and went around front and kicked the front wheels and they didn't move and I reached down and pushed the button and guess what it UNLOCKED the wheels!! I told DH THANKS I thought you said these were unlocked he said I thought they were I dont know how this thing works lol So once we had all the brakes off the stroller was very easy to push and move around. I think Wyatt felt a bit far away from everybody though he kept yelling Mommy Where are you!!! Hellllooooo Mommy! So DH walked out front most of the time talking to him haha it will take him some getting use to all of us some getting use to for that matter but I was happy with it. Now the real kicker I went down there specifically to get Wyatt pants w/ a gift card he got from my MIL for christmas for clothes well guess what I forgot the gift card at home! So i'm going to take them back down 1 day this week with my mom. I'm still not brave enough to venture out alone w/ the two of them mainly because i'm still not able to pick Wyatt up yet and im not sure how I would get him out of the car into the stroller or out of the stroller back into the car. I did get both of them 3 new outfits while we were out I couldn't help it they had really good deals & I can't resist little people clothes lol. It was a fun outting Owen slept through the whole thing but it was nice to get out of the house for a little. Well it looks like Mr. Owen is about ready to wake up so I better get going.
