75% effaced...
Last week at our Dr's appointment we were 75% effaced, but we weren't dilated yet. Dr. Saavedra said that Addison's head is right there though. Doug and I are getting very excited!!! We have another appointment this coming Wednesday and we are curious to see if I have started to dilate yet. I have been having some mild contractions, but since I am so new at this, I can't tell if they are productive or not.
I have been having the worst pressure the past few days; it is awful! Sometimes, I feel like Addison is going to fall right out... Now that Doug and I are at 37 weeks, we are going to start our walking at night again! I would walk during the day, but I am in sunny, blistering hot, Florida! You are lucky to see me outside before 4 pm. Winston, our dog, won't even go outside...
My family seems to think I am going to go before August 7. Sometimes I think they are right, but I just do not want to get my hopes up!!! I am thinking that we will be blessed with the presence of Addison somewhere around the 1st of August... We shall see!
Two of my close friend who were due the week before me had their little angels last week!!! I got to see my friends little boy at just a day old and he was so amazing!!! It has been so long since I have held an infant that tiny and young. My eyes weld up with tears as I was so smitten by this precious soul in my arms!!! It was like nothing else in the world mattered but the slice of heaven that was in my arms!!! All the more, I just dream about Addison's arrival...
