21-4-2009 - A family friend just had an unexpected baby!!!!!

My mood while writing this blog: Excited

A friend of my husband's family had weird pains last night. She thought maybe it was her appendix or something, so she went to the ER, they did an ultrasound and sure enough she was pregnant. I just got the call, and they said she gave birth to a baby boy, both are doing great!!!

I know most of you probably think how do you not know, and I was one of those up til now. My friend was overweight so she opted to have the lapband surgery because she couldn't get pregnant and had been trying for a while. Everything was going well. She was loosing weight but just not in her stomach, which a lot of us have that issue. She never felt any movement or any other symptoms. Her periods of course were irregular because of the weight issue, so for her not to get one wasn't uncommon. So when you put all this together I guess it can happen.

I am just so excited for them!!!
