02-6-2009 - First trip to ER

My mood while writing this blog: Tired

Hope everyone is doing well. I am better now. Sunday night I laid down and I got the worst cramp on my right side. I went from back back all the way around to my abdomin. I started throwing up and it just got worse. I called the doctor on call she really didn't help me any, so I tried to wait it out, but I couldn't. I went to the ER and they hooked me up to fluids gave me some good meds and took me in for an ultrasound. My right kidney was not working showing a possible blockage (kidney stone). And that was exactly what it was. OMG I have never hurt so bad. It is the worst pain I have ever had and I have broke bones sliced my self open and everything. They had to admit me so they could observe me to make sure everything was ok. They finally let me go home yesterday afternoon. I just have to go back on Thursday for another ultrasound.

One good thing out of all this is I got to see the baby. He/she was in there bouncing around and this is at about 2 in the morning. I got to see the umbilical cord and placenta. She also showed me the face and jaw line. I was so excited.

I also got in my doppler, I can't wait to go home and try it!!!!
