03-7-2008 - My poor Daughter

My mood while writing this blog: exausted

Well This week started out out from hell.Well first off my daughter woke up on Sunday morning with a fever of 102.4 so I gave her tylenol and everything it went away so we carried on with the daily routine as usual. Then my sister called me said she was going out in the pool if me and the baby wanted to come for a swim. By that time she was back to her normal self so we went over. Of course I come home from the pool with my back and shoulders sun burned.

So went to bed my daughter woke up at 5:00 am crying say her head was ouch which with a two year old meant that she was having a headache I reached down to touch her she was burning up so i took her temp she had a temp of 101.9 but that not the upsetting part I looked at her face it look like someone punched her in the eye it was so swollen I jumped up threw so pants on and took her to the hospital She had a Sinus infection and Periorbital Selluitus the name it self freaked me out. They gave a shot of antibiotics and sent us home with with some then they said it will take 2-3 days for the swelling to go down so in the mean time my baby is walking around with a patch over her left eye it is so sad to see her like that but at least she doesn't have anymore fever. So in the mean time she been sleeping in the bed with us keeping us awake at night like i don't have enough things going now sleep deprivation is going to be one of them. Woe is me right now.

awe. well it sounds like your day started off on the wrong foot got better and then got worse. I'm glad you found out hwta she has though. she must look so sad walking around looking like a baby pirate. hope you get some sleep and that your daughter feels better.
